# Overview

> ViceWire is an alt-data vendor that turns publicly available web and mainstream media into per-ticker, machine-readable features for investment and trading workflows. It extracts company-specific events, maps them to the relevant business surface, tracks novelty, scores tone and directional implications, captures company relevance and event-linked geography, and distinguishes confirmed developments from sourced reporting and rumor.

<Check>
  ViceWire's current offering is focused exclusively on Apple (`AAPL`) only. This concentrated scope allows us to develop, test, and refine the event model, business-surface mapping, and workflow with a high degree of depth and rigor before expanding coverage more broadly.

  That broader rollout is already in progress, with expansion underway to more than 50 U.S. megacap stocks, including `GOOG`, `TSLA`, `AMD`, `NVDA`, and many others.
